Module 2 Activity 6
Module 2 Activity 6: The Curriculum-Framing Questions provide a continuum of narrowing the focus for the unit question so you know exact information that will be measured while allowing for the essential question to be broad enough to include different subjects. In sped we have goals which have to be measured, yet these goals are just one small part of learning. The on-going assessment is so critical in order to know what a student does understand in order to know how to help them build on that understanding. Assessments need to be quick and include many non writing components. Last year as we worked on specific lessons in PLC's, I was still surprised at how much adaptation had to be done to help LD students grasp the concepts.
